Help All Kids Get a Quality Education
You can play an active part in reforming our education system so all kids graduate ready for college and the workplace. Click on the options below that interest you.
 
Sign a letter to our Governor to thank him for adopting The Common Core Standards and urge immediate implementation. The Common Core Standards provides a clear understanding of what students are expected to learn and will help parents and teachers know what they need to do to support them.
 
Sign a letter to the L.A. Unified Board of Education urging them to implement a robust system for evaluating and supporting teachers and administrators.  
 
Volunteer to tutor a student with one of United Way’s partners. 
 
Endorse the L.A. Compact. L.A. Compact is a collaborative agreement signed by 18 major Los Angeles institutions which is focused on boosting high school graduation rates, better preparing students for college, and providing students more opportunities and access to meaningful jobs and careers.
